The Eye Center is home to the internationally known Florida Institute of Sports Vision. It has examined the eyes of hundreds of professional athletes, ranging from tennis to professional basketball players.
- The Florida Institute of Sports Vision is the official eye care providers for the Miami Dolphins.
- Patients have included the Miami Heat, the Florida Marlins and the Florida Panthers
- The Institute's goal is to improve athletic performance
- The therapy has a proven correlation between good vision and optimum performance
- A personalized sports vision profile/program and custom designed training programs are offered
- The Institute uses state-of-the-art technology to evaluate various skills, such as depth perception, peripheral awareness and eye-tracking ability
